Documents required for the Minor child visa only

Hello,

Here is the situation. My parents have multiple visa entry for USA and they are planning to visit us in summers. They are planning to bring my nephew ( 7 yrs old ) along for the vacation.We got the appointment date for the visa but his parents won't accompany him for the interview instead my parents ( his grandparents) will go with him for the interview. Here are my questions:

1) Would the grandparents be allowed to accompany child for the visa interview instead of parents (grandparents already have the visa) ?

2) If yes, what documents would be required to prepare for interview thats shows they are the legal guardian of the child ?

In addition to the standard documents for everyone, you should get the authorization letter from both the parents that they don't have any problem their child visiting United States with the grandparents.

Want to apply visa my 8 yr old nephew

Hi,

I have a H1B visa and got the extension in US, My mom already got a multiple entry visa and now i am planning to apply visa for my 8 yr old nephew.

So please guide what are all the necessay documents and the other formalities and some interview questions.
