Can we apply seperate or both ?

Dear all,
As we (My mom & myself-Age.35 working in company) are planning to visit US for tourism purpose, My Brother is GC Holder & his wife is Citizen who is sponsoring us. I came to know that can we apply seperate or both ? Becoze agents told us to apply seprately. If we apply both then is that sponsor send us documents (e.g.Invitation letter etc.) to each person ? Secondly, Whose Birth Certificate require GC holder person or Citizen person?

It is best to apply together.

One set of documents should be provided by the sponsor.

Birth certificate of your brother or his wife is not required. Just the proof of legal status in the US.
