B1/B2 visa extension and dropbox eligibility

Hello,

My parents B1/B2 visa expires on April 2020. Just as a background they want to visit us in feb 2020 and my father is retired, will there be any visa issues ?
Are they eligible for dropbox program and can they apply for renewal ? Please share your experience for same/similar case.

Visiting before the last day of visa expiry is not a issue normally. Ensure they have passport validity for next 6 months.

Yes, they are eligible for dropbox if they renewing the same visa. You can renew the visa before an year of expiry as well.
