Is Minato Ward / Minato City a good place to stay?

Booked a hotel near there, and the hotel has quite a number of good reviews (8.5/10 rating), and seems like a good place to stay. We're not much into nightlife, etc, but would be nice to have a couple of restaurants nearby at night. Although even if there's not, we wouldn't mind traveling a bit to go to a good one.

I did find some cheaper hotels in the Shinjuku area, but they don't have quite as many good reviews (7.5/10 rating), so I'm debating if it's worth staying there.

If anyone has stayed there in the past, I would like to hear your thoughts or any tips you might have.
