Lots of thanks to immihelp for so much of valuable information. My in-laws had visa interview at Mumbai consulate and the entire process went very smooth without any issues.

The vo just asked 4-5 questions regarding the pupose and duration of visit. He also asked if my in-law will be planning to go multiple time to US or this is just for once they wish to go.
