    B1/B2 instead B2



    Hi there,

    I've selected in DS 160 B1/B2 instead of B2. I am going to travel to USA only for pleasure purpose. There is no business involved. Is this a problem, can this affect my application? will appreciate your help. I have got an interview in two weeks.

    No, there's no problem at all and don't worry about it.

      The Consular Officer's first question is always "What's the purpose of your trip'? If business - you state as so, if tourism you state as so.
