Hi,
My mother's B1 visa application was rejected in june this year - she was rated a "potential immigrant".
Request anyone with any experience of a case similar to hers to please respond -
She lives in our home in Chennai by herself...she has 4 sons, in London/Gujarat and Lucknow besides me in the US.
I have been here since Mar 04 on H1B.
She was widowed in Oct 03.
We showed financial backing to the tune of about Rs 25 L (including the house, which is actually in my deceased father's name)
The application letter said that she was visiting me to spend time with me and to see the sights of the US.
Can anyone tell me what could have gone wrong, and what needs to be done to reapply successfully?
