visa interview doubt

Actually my mom is going alone to the visa interview as my father didn't receive his passport yet, I haven't applied for him this time. ( graduation visit) so, can she be asked like why didn't your husband show up and all that?

if asked, how could she answer this ? can she say the same thing ? that his passport is under processing and all that? or i have a younger sister too of age 15.. can she say that he will take care of her and all that ? pls let me know

Just tell whatever the truth is.

If your father is not applying because he has not got his passport, say that. No point in trying to twist the facts as it will create more problems.
