1st time applying visitor visa -- what to do ??

hello,
I have many questions please help me out ??

1.) i am applying first time for visitor visa, so first shall i need to fill the form DS160 or gather the documents and sponsor letter from my brother., then fill up the form...

how can i fill the form any signature is needed or not??

2.) i am going to apply for chennai as i am in bangalore,for last five years.

3.) what all documents are needed for me??? .. as my husband is not coming,he works in software company..

4.) how much balance should is show ???

5.) what all questions can VO ask me???
