  • 2nd time after 6yrs since 1yr B2 visa. Unmarried single woman. Who sponsor Aunt/uncle

    Hi all

I want to travel to the states again for tourism purposes only. I have visited in 2004 on a multiple 1year B2 visa with my family. My sister & me received only 1 year and my parents got 10 years multiple. We returned earlier than the 6 months granted at port of entry.

I'm currently 25, unmarried Indian female. I have lived in Australia for 2 years as a student and returned. I'm currently a free lancer and also a part of my family business. I do not earn a salary from the business. I used to work for an IT company but I quit 6 months ago.

I have a paternal aunt who is a US Citizen and a paternal uncle who is on H1B. Now I cannot decided who should sponsor me. I want to minimize the paper work involved as I don't want to inconvenience them for it.

Also how do I show my employment? What paperwork do I require. I do not have any assets in my name but my parents & sister remain in India and have assets.

    Please advise.

    Thanks!

    1. Anyone can sponsor. It does not matter.
    2. You can only show what you have. If you are freelancer, that is what you show.

Thanks for your reply. I'm worried as a freelancer they might think I don't have sufficient ties to my home country. Is there an alternative? I have no interest in living in US.
