Ive done a little research so the prospects arent looking good, but essentially I (United States) want to bring my girlfriend (Philippines) here to stay with me for two weeks. She has no money, no job, nothing. No kids either. No ties to the community. At this point, a website told me her odds of getting here are slim to none because of what I assume are the statistically odds of someone like her overstaying her visa.
I had planned on buying her flight ticket and paying all her expenses while she was here.
The plan is to be able to say we met in person, so that we fulfilled one of the requirements of the K1 visa. We both want to get married. We would apply after she returned home to the Philippines.
A little about me. I am 29. I was convicted of a Domestic Assault No Contact Order in 2017 (I dont know if that counts as Domestic Assault because they asked that in the K1 Odds Calculator I took and I just said yes to be on the safe side.) So that seems to be a deterrant to the K1.
Shes 26 and weve been talking and video chatting for a month and a half. She also has a cousin who lives in Washington D.C.
Basically I need to know what I have to do to be able to get her here legally. Maybe I am asking in the wrong subforum. But I know initially I want her to come here on a B2 visa so that we can meet. Im not allowed to leave the country til Im done with probation (June 2022)
