  • Its not a One minute process!

As many of the readers say that Visa officer denies or grnats VISA in "one minute"..Its not true. Before anyone goes to the consulate in person, there application and details reach there much before them. So the VISA officer already knows about their case and probability of being an immigrant or not. So when the people reache there, their VISA is already been decided. It looks like VISA officer hasn't even seen the documents but in reality they know all about the case.
Also getting a VISA to US is not a right, its a privilage. I personally know so many people( and heard of many) in US who have violated VISA rules, either by working while on H4, B1,B2, babysitting while visiting their children, overstaying etc etc.
Many comapnies in New Jersey process H1 VISA for H4 person and don't pay them, and after that the person questions why his/her GC is taking so much time etc etc..examples of cases like such is on immihelp forum questions themselves (they do it first and then complain about INS)
I agree, We should come together for broader appeal but with logicl issues and for legal rights. Unfortunately, some people break laws nad many innocent people have to suffer. But thats the way it is.

No.. Only visa application form is submitted before and all other documents are shown only at the time of interview. You mean to say they can decide just about looking about the passport particulars on the visa form ? Why dont they ask for documents photocopies before like all other embassies do ?

I agree that rules are violated, but does it mean they should refuse genuine persons. I can give you examples where a person with 5 years multiple visa who has traveled multiple times has been denied visa without any reason. They just hand over the letter mark with section 214(b) and no other explanation.

Any finally... how many of you legally migrated to USA ? You may be a legal immigrant at this time .. but how about the person who sponsored you ?

          Its ok...

It all depends on personal experineces, but still ,the things has been changed dramatically in last 2 years infact after 9/11, USA is more cautious and alert.

some times back They also issued the visa's through DROP BOX procedures and without interviews , but lot of people took disadvantage of that , so now somebody , somewhere has to pay the price ...

wel in terms of rejection of visitor visa's ,nobody can predict anything about it, just we have to be more positive,

lets hope things will workout someday, sometime...

          thanks
