Sponsor H1B Petition Validity

Hi,

My current H1B petition is expiring on June 1st 2010, I have 4 more years left for the 6 years limit. My company just filed the H1B renewal petition.

My in-laws attending visitor visa interview in couple of week. I just wanted to know whether my H1B petition validity will affect there chances of getting the visa. I am inviting them for 3 months. Do I need to show any proof that my employer filed for H1B renewal ?

If they have the proof of filed extension, send that.
