Mother-in-law got visa at Chennai Consulate !

Thanks again to this great website! My Mother-in-law got visa today and they just took the application form and DDs and nothing else!!! Was so surprised to hear that I-134 and other imp documents were not asked for. Yet to know for how long she got it.

Questions asked:
1.Is your name YYYY X?
Yes

2.Is this person your own son?(seeing the name in the "who will sponsor visit")
Yes

3.What does your husband do?
He is retired

4.Where will your husband stay when you are gone?
He will stay in Chennai

She was asked to go and pay the visa fees and said she will get her passport in 2 or 3 days.

My parents got the visa in Sept and now my MIL. I again thank this website through which I prepared the documents and also the general interview questions.
