Hi everyone, I need your advice!!!!
My parents just traveled to the states on tourist visa and unfortunately my dad was taken to ER and he had no insurance.
Now the bill came out about $50,000 altogether. The bills are under my dad's name. I wasn't involved in any documents.
My questions are:
1/ If dad doesn't pay the bills, will that later affect his immigration to the US when I sponsor him?
2/ Is there any way to lower the amount or break down the bills?
