Rescheduling VFS Appointment!!Urgent Please help

Hi Admin & others,
I need to reschedule VFS appointment for my parents. Can I cancel the appointment and schedule new appointment immediately or do I need to wait for some time after I cancel the appointment for taking new appointment. Please help I need this urgently.

Thanks for your quick reply. My question is once I cancel vfs appointment can I take new appointment immediately or do I need to wait until the sytem updates cancelled appointment information?

I am not expert here but I think once you cancel your appointment you cannot take next appointment immediatly. You have to wait for 24 Hrs after you cancel first one.

Last time I faild to submit documents to Mumbai consulate before 3 working days of my appoinment. That is when I tried cancellation and scheduling next appointment. But in that case they said I can apply only after 24Hrs of my previous VISA appointment date.

This is like 2 years back and the case was different. So check their website.

Thanks for your reply. I took appointment at Hyderabad consulate. My question is at Hyderabad consulate once I cancel vfs appointment can I take new appointment immediately or do I need to wait 24 hours or something like that until the

VFS system is the same for all the consulates. Therefore, it should behave the same way.

What is the big deal either way?
