My mom and dad both went for visa together. Mom had all the paper work and she was answering all questions. All went well until the VO asked my dad the following questions:
1. Where do you work?
dad: YYYY company(which is a small private firm)
VO: ok
2. Have you been abroad before?
dad: yes
VO: where?
dad:France and Thailand for work related purposes
VO:show me your passport
dad:shows his old passport since it have the visas for the countries
VO:checks the passport and puts the number on his computer, calls another VO and they talk among themselves. Then takes mom's passport and gives back dad's passport saying 'you will have to wait!' Thank you
The weird part is that he did not mention any reason for his rejection. Even if he re-applies how can he prepare since all our paper work was up-to-date and complete. What else can he say or do to the VO to convince him to give the visa?
