  • Which Visa??

My boyfriend and i have been doing the long distance thing for 18 months now and are ready to make things more official. We've spoken about marriage, but feel that only spending a few weeks together at a time is not really a true insight into how our relationship would work when we are together everyday. We'd really like to spend some quality time together before making such a huge commitment in getting married.

SO .... Having looked through Visas we came to the conclusion that the Visitors visa was the best one to go for, however, i have a 5 year old son who would be coming with me and i would like to know if he would be able to attend school on this particular visa??

Also, I work as a full-time supply teacher in England, would this be easily transferable to the US and would i be able to apply for a working visa instead of the visitors visa???

HELP ME .... I feel as though my head is about to implode

If you are coming to the US with the intention of possibly getting married, tourist visa is not appropriate.

Fiance visa may be an option if you definitely intend to get married in next 90 days after arrival into the US. Your intention of just exploring the possibilities has not specific place in the US immigration law.

Children on tourist visa can not attend school.
