My boyfriend and I have been together for 10 years, I am Canadian and he is an American (retired military). We would like to get married but will be travelling abroad, living on a sailboat, for the next 5 years and do not want to apply for my residency until we are done with our travels and settle in the US.
Would I still be able to visit the US for holidays if we are married? Would owning a boat that is in a different country be enough proof that we infact do not want to reside in the US and would only be travelling to visit family etc?
