visitors visa to write an exam at US

hi , am a doctor, 26 y and need to go to US to give a lisencing exam , i hav my sister there and she is a homemaker , my question is wether to seek a visa showing my sister or my brother in law as a sponser , or should i show my father here at india as a sponser , which one is gonna be effective , kindly advice and is it detremental to show that i hav my sister there in getting a visitors visa?

Whether or not to have your sister/b-i-l be your sponsor is your decision. Many people feel that self-sponsoring implies greater economic ties to one's home country which in turn indicates one's intent to return.

However, what you cannot do is lie about your sister's presence in the US. You have to mention that she is in the US.
