Visitor Visa for my brothers daughter

Hii all

I am working here on H1 visa and I would like to bring my brothers daughter here along with my mother-in-law. My m-in-law has a tourist. I am planning for applying for my brothers daughter who is 5 years old. Do I need to follow the same procedure just for any other adults.. If any one had applied for it before and it they could share the experience it will be a great help for me..
