  • Sponsoring my uncle/aunty

I am planning to invite my uncle and aunty for US visit for 2 to 3 months. I lived with them for few years and they are like my mom and dad. Both my uncle and aunty are retired from govt job and gets pension. They have only daughter and she is married and settled in India. They have around 20 lakhs in bank and also own a house.

I am a US citizen, I am also willing to sponser them. Do I submit I-134 or do they show their own funds or both? Also what is the success rate for sponsoring uncle/aunty? One other thing is my parents are also visiting, they already have 10 yrs visa and my uncle/aunty like to accompany them so that they can visit different places together.

Is there any other specific document that is required for sponsoring uncle and aunty. Please help!

    Thanks in advance.

If they can take care of the expenses themselves, it is better that you don't sponsor them.

Otherwise, you can. You need to show the proof of your relationship to them.
