Hi,
I am planning to call my parents and I was wondering how much money or movable / immovable assets they should show, if they are sponsoring themselves ? Coz if we would be sponsoring we required atleast $5-6,000 for each of them...but when they want to sponsor themselves, what is the minimum requirement ?

There is nothing such called a 'minimum requirement'. They have to show the sufficient funds to prove that they can afford to visit US and do not become public charge. Additionally, they have to prove that they would come back to India and have no intentions of visiting US as an immigrant.
