Hello everyone,
I am a med student in the United States and have got a H1b job. I am converting my status here without coming back to India since I have some academic/research commitments to fulfil before I join my work. I have not graduated from my masters program. My mother wishes to visit me here and I am requesting information in that regard.
She is a widow and I am her only child. I guess that is one difficulty we are facing in terms of potential immigrant. She works in a non govt organisation for betterment of people living in slums.. hence the salary is less and income tax returns are not sufficient to self sponsor herself. I have not started working, so cant sponsor her on my own. I live with my cousin sister (H1 employed) and maternal uncle (green card, unemployed) and they are willing to sponsor her B2 visa. Please do advise as to how should i proceed to ensure her a visiting visa.
