Help with Tourist visa application

Selected B1/B2 for parents tourist visa, it will be a pleasure trip strictly, no business. Fees has been paid and appointment is scheduled, can this visa type cause any issue?

B1/B2 visas are issued together. You've selected the correct type. Both business and pleasure are the same visa

I applied for a B1/B2 visa 3 years back, and I mentioned that I'm visiting the US as a tourist. I didn't have any problem

Its not that big of an issue, but ideally you should only apply for what you need & eligible for.

For parents to visit their kids in USA, its pretty easy & they take it as typo.
