I-134 Question

Question 10 of I-134 (affidavit of support) asks if I submitted a visa petition to USCIS on behalf of another person. I am filing an extension application for my mom and thus the I-134.

My parents applied for the B2 visa last year and I prepared the application (and thus I filled section 40 of DS-156). I don't think that means I submitted those visa petitions but please let me know if I need to list them for question 10.

It is asking for immigrant visa (green card) petitions.

Therefore, if you have not filed for anyone's green card, answer no.

Thanks a lot, immihelp. I filed a I-485 for myself and my spouse. I think that my spouse's green card application is considered a derivative rather than a visa petition sponsorship. Thus a derivative application need not be mentioned in Q.10 but I could specify it for full disclosure.
