  • POE - Questions

    Hi,

My parents are visiting US this month. I have few questions regarding POE.

My parents are not fluent in english. I am planning to send a letter to POE officer about their visit and stay. Is that ok?

They have a flight connection from London. So on arrival what should they mention on I-94 where it says city where you boarded and flight number. Should they enter Indian airport and flight number or london and that flight number?

Same at Mumbai airport. Should they enter destination NewYork or London?

    Thanks,
    Prashant

    1. You can send a letter addressed to IO at POE.
    2. The I 94 card known as arrival/departure record will be given to your parents after they take off from London. The need to fill Indian airport where they boarded & and flight no and arrival destination as New York.

Thanks Admin. I read it and thought it was only for longer stay.

Can a scan copy of letter is ok or it should be original signed by me?

Rambalaji - Thanks. As you mentioned the form is given after london so I assume they should mention London in the column where it asks for 'City where you boarded'!?

        Thanks,
        Prashant
