Please Help :Getting spouse visa

Hi,
I'm getting married on Feb18th and i have a visa appointment before that.I'm going to US on B1.I want to accompany my wife with me.I'm not sure about the best way to apply for visa so as to prevent its rejection.My company is not sponsoring my wife but can send invitation letter in her name too
