Hi,
I sponsored my parents to visit u.s.a. They went to bombay consulate to get visitor visa. They got rejected for visa. This was their first time visa request. I talked to my parents why they got rejected and what was their conversation with consulate officer. My parents have filled for six month visa in time period of visa. First she asked my father what you are doing and he said he retired bank employee. Then she got surprised by seeing six month visa time in time period of visa column where they ask for visa period you want it. My father said it is fine if you give for less time frame. Then she went on other question. She noticed my brother was also in U.S.A as a student visa. She asked are you supporting your son who is on student visa and my father replied yes .Then she said sorry we cannot give you visa.
Now as they have mentioned in first applicaiton about my brother that he is also in u.s.a and on student visa.
What they should do when they are reapplying again for visitor visa. How they should approach. Do they need to take help of agent.
Can you provide suggesiton how they should approach to consulate office.
Or only my mother should apply for visa as whole purpose of their visiting u.s.a is my wife is pregnant. But again they did not mentioned about this as their visit cause. But this is my question.
Thank for giving me suggesiton in advance
