Parents Visa, sister in us on H4 but B2 visa was approved

Hi,

My parents are going to visa interview on 13th May.
They were rejected Visa once before when i invited them for my graduation, but my sister got the visa. She is now married and in US for short term project with my brother in law.

When filling the application we mentioned that she was in india.

My questions is: If in the visa interview my parents say that my sister is in India, can the visa officer dig into the old visa issued to my sister and find out she is in US?

Also will there he any issues with the interview if they tell that both of us are here.

I am not sure why you would want to lie about this. You always to speak the truth.

If she is in the U.S., they can easily find that out.
