Which Visa?

I need to travel to the States to write an exam. Which visa do I apply?

I have never been denied a US visa, and have held other visa categories before. The last time I had applied for a B visa, the Consular Officer was worried that I'd take the exam, though I had intended to travel for official purposes. The Consular Officer then had granted me a visa valid for one week and specifically warned me that I was to travel for XX official purpose only, and not for any other reason. He even went to the extent of putting his comments on the visa that was issued. Ultimately the official trip was cancelled and I never traveled on that visa. This time I will be traveling with the intention of writing the exam only. What do I do?
