  • B2 Visa for Father

    Dear All,

I will be travelling to USA in mid April for meeting from Dubai for 1 Week, I already have US B1/B2 Visa. I wants to take my father with me who is in Pakistan with age of 64 Years & i will be the one to sponsor him as far cost is concern. I have already applied for his B2 visa & while applying for his visa i put US contact details of the company where i am visiting.

My question is next week his interview is schedule, is it enough to provide the following 3 documents to my father or any further details can be also requested by interviewer.

    1.my passport copy
    2.my US visa copy
3.one sponsor letter from my end to explain i am travelling & taking my father with me

Thanks in advance for your support

    Regards, Fayyaz

Your father need to prove strong ties to his home country, so have him carry his property papers, income documents, IT returns etc.

          Dear Libra,

Thank you very much, by Grace of GOD his visa is approved and by next day after the interview he got an email to collect the passport.
To be on safer side I have attached the travel itinerary and hotel booking along with covering letter.
What I understand as long your documentation is strong and you are confident then chances of getting is very brighter.
I have attached the following documents with my written cover letter

          1. My US visit Visa copy along with passport copy
          2. Travel itinerary
          3. Hotel booking
          4. My salary certificate/NOC from my employer
Visa officer try to trick with my father,
VO:whom marriage you will attend in US
Father: I am not going for marriage, my son has planned meeting & I will join him as a tourist.

Here if my father got confused then for sure visa would be rejected.

PS: my father got all his documents like bank statement, property documents, tax returns. When my father asked VO I have all my documents apart from my provided covering letter documents, in response VO said no need of your doc.

          Thanks

          Regards, Fayyaz
