Visiting visa..

My company sponsred H1 B for this year and the current status "H1 is filed" but still I am waiting for receipt number. Now I got into a situation that, I need to visit US for two weeks immediately.

Now my question is " am I eligible to apply Visiting visa as I already filed for H1".

Yes, as long as you are going to do activities suitable on visitors visa, and not working.
