Hi,
My mother is being sponsored by her nephew who is a US citizen. He sent across the invitation letter, employer letter, affidavit of support, W2 for last year, letter to the consulate, social security card copy dated Sept 24th. However, the earliest appointment available was for Nov 29th. But unfortunately my mother fell sick on the very day,and she could not attend the interview, neither could we cancel/modify it. I have now taken another appointment for Feb 29th. My concern now is :
1. Is there a validity period for the documents ? Would the docs dated Sept 24th still be admissible or should we take a new set of docs ? Any updated docs to be carried ?
2. Are his payslips necessary ?
Thanks in advance,
Vin
