visa rejected

Hi,

Myself and mother had interview last week.
Both our visas were rejected.

The VO asked a few questions like, why you want to go to US, where in US you are going,what do you do,have you visited any other countries. etc.

I was expecting they will grant my mom the visa,as presently I was not working and am not married.

Could anyone guide how to proceed forward, so at least my mom can get the visa ?

If you are not working and married how are you going to provide proof of your economic and social ties to India during your visa interview? And if you cannot provide that evidence how will prove your intent to return?

It would be sensible for you to wait until you are in a position to provide concrete evidence of your strong ties to your home country and then reapply.

Your mother's chances of getting a visa depend on the evidence of economic and social ties to India that she can show. But she can definitely say that she intends to return to India because you her other child lives here.

Yes, she has enough social ties(relatives),and family(2 sons,nephew ) , what are the changes of getting the visa after the first rejection, when we went together.Now she will be going alone for the interview. What are the points she should stress on ?. What are the chances of getting the visa this time. It is urgent for her to go. Please let me know.
