Visa Stamp on Old passport

Hi.

My mother is planning to visit US. She has her visa stamped on her old passport. While her old passport expired on Dec 1, 2019, her new passport starts with Dec 7, 2019. Will this gap create an issue when she travels to US by carrying both passports. The old passport and visa are in good condition.

Not a problem, a gap is not an issue, as long as she has valid passport & valid visa (even in old passport) at the date of travel.

i have a question.i am a green card holder.when i applied my da 160 two years ago.i made a spelling mistake with my wife information.i mean her father name (1letter).
now i am going to apply a tourist visa my wife mother.

i just now checked her passport and married certificate.there is only one letter different.
is it any problem?

Should not be a problem, considering that different is not causing the name to change drastically.
