This might be a long post so please bear with me because I am unable to decide whether I should schedule an interview or not for my B2 visa application.
I am planning to visit my husband who is currently working in California. We plan to move to Canada in June as he got a transfer within the same organization. His Canadian work visa and my (open work permit) visa are being sponsored by his company (currently under process, the company will file for my visa once his gets processed). I am currently in India and have resigned from my current organization as I plan to travel to US to spend time with my husband before we travel to Canada (from US). Also, our Canadian Express Entry application for PR is under process and will be completed by June.
If I schedule an interview and the visa officer asks me whether I will return to my home country or not, what should my answer be? Because my husband and I plan to migrate to Canada from US directly within two months time frame. Please let me know if this can cause any issues during the interview.
(P.S. my husband will be sponsoring the trip and I have been to US before on F1 visa for getting my Masters degree)
