  • Question on B1/B2 Visitor Visa for Parents

    Hi,
Can anyone please help me with this situation?

My Parents are old ( Father 72 and mother 65). They are planning to visit US for a month but recently my sister-in-law filed a 498a dowry harassment case. We did not even take the dowry in the marriage; and we know this is a **** case and she filed the case to harass and squeeze money from us but we did not pay the money and facing the case. The case is in the court right now.

In the DS forms here is the question: "Have you ever been arrested or convicted for any offense or crime, even though subject of a pardon, amnesty, or other similar action? "

My parents never got arrested and the case is in the initial stages and they are attending the court.

So the answer to the above question would be a "No" right?
    Can anyone please suggest?

Thank you very much in advance!

Since they are not arrested - That is no.
Since they are not yet convicted - That is no.
