Hi,
I am new to the forum and I am not sure if this question has been asked before.
I am based in Saudi Arabia and my wife is settled in India with my children. I want to send her (only her) for a 2 week trip to the US with one of her friend's as a gift. I just wanted to know what the procedure to apply would be for a solo visitor visa without me or the kids having to apply as she will be traveling alone. Also, she would need to apply for the visa from India so what would the right route be for her to go to the consulate/embassy there. Financial statements and letter of support would be mine (she is not working and dependent on me for funds from my job in Saudi Arabia) from Saudi Arabia but would she need to show any funds in her account in India as well and what would the ideal stated balance be in such a case?
If someone can please guide me in the right direction, I will really appreciate it. Thank you.
