  • lied in 2004 for mom's B2. Still have chance now?

    Dear all:
I am a Chinese. In 2004, in my mom's application for B2 (applied in China for visiting her cousin and got rejected), She didn't mention about my staying in US (I was here actually, we lied).
Do you think that it is still possible for her to apply for a B2 to visit me now? I am a GC holder from asylum now. She is a widow and 69 years old.
    Thanks in advance!

It is still possible but she will have to tell the everything truthfully.

There is no reason for her to lie about your presence in the U.S.

      Thanks for your reply!
So, do you think that it is necessary for me to mention about that lie (told in 2004) in the letter to the CO?
Or, just start from fresh without talking about anything happened in the past.

Don't explicitly mention that you lied.

If asked about it, tell truthfully.
