Early Renewal of Tourist Visa, denied.Still Valid?

Hi! I tried renewing my US visa last Friday but my application was denied.The consul did not stamp anything on my visa yet does this mean that it wasn't cancelled? My visa is expiring on October, is it still valid? Thank you...
