My parents are planning to visit me in US.
I am on EAD and my husband is on H1B(with 485 pending). I was working for 6 months in 2008 in H1B and then had 1 yr of employment gap and then I have started to work again as a full time employee for the past 6 months on EAD. My husband has been in US for 10 yrs with no employment gaps and with the same company.
I was thinking of sponsoring my parents but will my employment gap cause an issue. Also my EAD will be expiring in october 2010 and by the time my parents go for VISA interview, I might have applied for EAD renewal. Will that cause an issue?
Please advise me on whether me or my husband should sponsor my parents. which is the best choice?
