  • I-539 Filing Fee for Both Parents (Online vs. Paper Form)

Had a question. I need to file the extension for both my parents and I saw on USCIS website that if there are co-applicants and filing a paper form I-539; then a single fee of $370 applies. Is this corrrect? I am attaching the link.

Understand I will still have to pay $85 biometrics fee for each of them.

    Thanks a lot.

Yes, that is correct if they are filing by paper; one would fill out an I-539 and the other would fill out an I-539A.

This is my personal opinion and is not to be construed as legal advice.

Thanks a lot! And this is only true for paper filing; correct?

        Yes, because online-filed I-539 cannot have co-applicants.

Hello amkaush I am in a similar situation, did you paper file for both parents and did you end-up paying only 1 fee of $370 or was it $370 + $85 + $85 for biometrics as well.
Can you also tell me what all paper work was mailed or couriered
