Passport return with visa
Hello dear immihelp team
I have a question and I will be glad if I get an answer here. My mother got her visitor visa B-2 from islamabad embassy in april but they said that the visa needs additional administrative processing before the passport could be returned to her. I havent heard of any such case before. I told everyone here that my mother is coming to visit me and now this delay in her passport is making all family members frustrated. Embassy people are not telling how much more time it requires for her to get the passport back. People are speculating some are saying it may take upto a year in some cases some are saying 6 months. If you have any info of such cases I know you cant telll either but at least to get an idea I will be very thankful. We are in great deal of uncertainty.
