visitor visa documents for in-laws..help!!!

Hello,

I moved to US on TN visa last July '09 and started my job in August '09. I am inviting my in-laws to US this August, I had few questions regarding the documents required:


1. is the employment letter compulsory??? I had my TN visa renewed recently...can't the same TN visa letter serve as my employment letter. It does have all the info required on the company's letter head like where i work n how long has the company offered me the job...
***employment letter is offered by the same person who issued my TN visa documents***

2. Do they require my last year's Canada's tax returns? (my parents are in touch with an travel agent n they are asking for my canada's tax returns for last year). but i don't understand why do they need that as i am living in US since last year....

3. Also, wanted to confirm about tax return documents from irs in US, they say its paperless n i have not received any tax return papers. so what can i do if they ask for tax return papers?

I would really appreciate if someone can clarify the above questions..

1. It is compulsory.

2. Required to prove that you have steady income now and in recent past.

3. You can request tax transcripts from IRS, if you didn't keep the copy of the tax returns you filed with IRS.
