Extension of visa through Nunc Pro Tunc
i applied for extension of B2 visa as a nunc pro tunc on 19th April 2020 because my i20 expired in January 29, 2020. I didn’t apply earlier because my change of status was in process and because of my school my COS got denied on 1st of April
I have heard that the USCIS only grant you 6 months of time period if they approve your application. My concern is I still haven’t gotten any letter from USCIS other than i797 and if they had to grant me 6 months time period then it is going to be until July 2020 which is in 40 days. Or they can approve it for more period of time as well? Also do I have to submit some other letter or anything to be safe?
