  • Original Documents for Visa Process

    Dear Members,

I am inviting my parents in law to visit USA. I am ready to send most of the documents thru email.

Is it necessary to submit real copies to USCIS? Can they submit the scanned copies I sent for e.g. Bank verification letter, employment verification letter etc?

In short what are the important which needs to be submitted with original copy?

    Thanks

    Sasha

First, you don't send anything to USCIS. You send everything to the visitor who will show it to the consulate.

Don't send scanned documents. Send originals. Details at http://www.immihelp.com/visitor-visa/

      Thanks Immihelp for your reply.

I am sending all document as original thru post now.

Just one last question, I am sponsoring to my Mother-in-law, Father-in-law and Sister in law.

Do I need to submit original set of documents (bank letter, bank statements, passport copies etc) for each one of them or one set should be enough for all of them? I have filled I-134 separately for each one of them.

      Thanks

      Sasha

One set is enough if they are going for an interview together.
