Your views reg. my case..

I recently applied for a US tourist visa and got denied. The immigration officer had asked me if there was an immigrant petition for me before, I had answered none and was really sure of it, then he had told me that apparently there was a petition for me (+ mom & my sister), I was really shocked to find out this way, but the officer told me its ok, that I am old now anyway (what does he mean by that ). I think it was the main reason why I got denied.. he said my economic ties are strong, but social and family ties are not.. and he somehow suggested that I should travel first to other countries.. My issues now of course are;

1. When I apply again, I suppose I have to declare that I have an immigrant petition before (though I don't really have any idea and details ofthis petition)

2. How to clear this petition, as I do not really wish to immigrate in the US, and I know that it will be an issue and maybe basis again for denial of my tourist visa again..
