  • How to proof strong ties

    Hi,

I'm from Dominican Republic and I'll try to apply for a B1/B2 on November. I'm 30, single and not kids. I was wondering what kind of paper works should I bring to my interview. I been working in the same company for the last 5 years, I just got a mortgage for an apartment (I'll receive the apartment in August), I financially support my mother (btw she has a b1/b2), I'm currently studying business administration at college (second year out of 4) and my company paid for it. (I have a letter from HR stating they will pay for my education as long as I work for them)

Every comment or help is highly appreciated.

    Thank you.

Basically, you need to prove that you have strong ties to your home country & you'll return after the short visit.

An permanent job with good salary, nice savings, family in home country shows that you've ties & you'll return.
