B1/B2 Question - Urgent

Hi All,

My cousin visited US on a B1 visa a couple of years ago. When he came to US he was granted a 10Yr multiple entry visa.

Now he is planning to visit us as a tourist. Will he have to go for an interview and get a B2 visa?

I have read a lot of stuff online and almost all the places use B1 and B2 as similar visas. So I am a little confused.

It will be great if anyone can provide information. Thanks in advance.

B1 is business visa, and B2 is visior visa.
Both are for different purpose.

But when you go for one of them, you usually get both B1/B2.

Check visa stamp in the passport. If already had, no need to go for interview again. That can be used while entering US.

The visa type shows it as "B1/B2". So if I understand u right, there is no need for an interview.....right?
